30th May A press conference was held at Nestle Head office today to officially launch the MILO-SportsUnite-MTCA Under 17 Inter Team Unity Taekwondo Carnival 07 which is open to the first 16 boys teams and 16 girls teams to register.

The event is unique in the sense that this is the first time in Malaysian Teakwondo history a taekwondo carnival is organized based on team participation of 5 participants to a team of different weight categories.Each team must consist of participants of at least 2 races.
The idea of mixed races in each team as a pre-requirement is in line with the principle of both SportsUnite and MILO to encourage racial integration and unity through sports.
The carnival will be held on the 10th June ( Sunday) 2007 at the Bukit Jalil School Hall.
Entry fee is only RM75 per team.All participants will receive souvenir t-shirts and certificates of participation.Please contact Organizers Kelab Taekwondo Koryo

The top 4 teams in each category will receive prize money RM300/RM200/RM150/RM150 respectively,winners medals and Milo products.
There will be free MILO drinks served to all participants,supporters and officials.

Todate we have received very good response.We even have teams from as far as Penang,Johor and Kedah participating.I am confident this carnival will be a success.It is also my hope that this concept of unity in taekwondo will continue in the future in a bigger scale with continued support from both MILO and SportsUnite”
