If your child frequently plays with a ball, play football. If your child loves to swing his stick, try hockey! It’s all about tapping into their interests! Make sports as interesting as possible to get your child active in sports. It has to be enjoyable to get your child to love sports.
Simple ways to get your child motivated to play sports:
- Find the right activities for your child – activities that are not too difficult, neither too easy. Otherwise your child may be frustrated or bored.
- Allow your children to be active - allow them to go out and play, provide them with the right sports equipments, and most of all, bring them to a playground and play a sport with them!
- Ensure that your children are enjoying the sports that they are playing all the time.
