MILO® donated 50 pairs of sports shoes and 36 footballs to SJK (T) Bestari Jaya as with such a promising team, they have been in need of appropriate footwear and sufficient footballs for practice. With only 20 worn out footballs, the flourishing team has definitely been facing insufficiency during practice.
 We have lots of students who are very talented but they lose out because they do not have the proper shoes. School shoes may be fine when they practice in the field but when it comes to the stadium track, it’s not good enough. There have been several with the potential to win but those have been missed chances because they didn’t have the right shoes,  said Guru Penolong Kanan Ko-Kurikulam, Puan Mehar-Banu.
 The students are determined and the ones who excel in sports prove to be role models to the rest of the students. Through sports, confidence is built and students start to believe in themselves and push harder even when competition is tough  added Puan Mehar Banu. |
