Since its establishment in 2012, the CAREton Project has successfully recycled over 5,400 tonnes of used beverage cartons, which is equivalent to more than 450 million UHT packs. These recycled materials, such as PolyAl panels and roof tiles, have been instrumental in various construction projects, including the creation of sheltered walkways, roof repairs, and the construction of homes for underprivileged communities, including the Orang Asli.
This year, we are excited to extend our efforts to the younger generation, specifically our school children.
Introducing MILO® Energy for Good, our brand new campaign designed to inspire and engage the younger generation in embracing a circular economy. Through the combined power of recycling and sports, we aim to create a conducive environment for children to learn and play, fostering a sustainable future for all.

The CAREton Project
Since 2012, in partnership with Tetra Pak Malaysia, collected over 5,400 tonnes of used beverage cartons (equivalent to over 450 million UHT packs) from more than 700 drop-off points nationwide to be recycled into Polyethlene & Aluminium (PolyAl) materials used for roof sheets and panel boards. This initiative has played a vital role in improving the living conditions of underprivileged and special communities by providing access to these sustainably produced building materials.
